Pitching a tent on the hard ground and roughing
it for a few nights might not be everyone’s idea of
fun in the great outdoors. Glamping, on the other
hand, appeals to a wide range of people. Rather than
roughing it in the wilderness, glamping allows you to
enjoy the outdoors without giving up all the creature
comforts you’ve come to expect from a conventional
camping trip. A combination of “glamorous” and
“camping”, glamping defines a kind of camping
that includes amenities and, occasionally, resortlike
services that are not typically associated with
“classic” camping. Millennial holidaymakers who
seek both the comforts of a hotel and the escape
and adventurous recreation of camping have made
glamping popular. With glamping, you can stay in a
variety of lodgings, including yurts, RVs, airstreams,
and more permanent options like cabins or tents.
What they all have in common is that they offer a
more luxurious camping experience than traditional
camping, yet they still allow you to connect with
nature.
