From Armani to Roviva, you can rest easy knowing that these brands have your back when it comes to a good night’s sleep. <strong>The</strong> Swiss family business Roviva, which develops mattresses, “sleep systems”, and beds, has been committed to promoting healthy sleep since its founding in 1748! Noted for their quality, Roviva’s products are manufactured with a blend of tradition and creativity, using the finest materials and most advanced techniques. Hygienic freshness, gentle pressure relief, ergonomic support, and an optimal sleeping environment are all characteristics of Roviva’s products. Not to be outdone is Armani Casa’s Morfeo bed, which is inspired by the notion of a floating bed and is made possible by the headboard and footboard’s thin, gently curved design. <strong>The</strong> structure is composed of a single piece that is rounded at the ends, covered with a patterned technical fabric, and framed in solid wood. For the perfect illumination, check out Bomma, a Czech glassmaking company. Its Phenomena range is particularly unique. <strong>The</strong> lighting fixtures are hand-blown into custom-made forms that blend clear and coloured glass in a variety of sizes. <strong>The</strong> flawlessly smooth shape of the crystal light is highlighted by a polished mounting, emphasising a faultless fusion of materials and aesthetics. This range is designed in collaboration with Dechem Studio, which was established in Prague in 2012 by Michaela Tomiskova and Jakub Jandourek. Jakub and Michaela met at the Novy Bor School of Glass, where they both fell in love with the world’s first synthesised material. While Michaela went on to study product design at the Academy of Arts Prague and later worked for several acclaimed design HOUSE PROUD From Bomma’s sparkling lights to Fendi Casa’s statement screen, luxury home items lend style and sophistication to any space studios, Jakub remained in the lighting industry, specialising in glass workmanship, technology, and manufacture. Since starting Dechem Studio, they have been concentrating on product design, with a special focus on glass. For a touch of quirk and whimsy, look no further than Matthew Wiliamson’s home collection. His Betty sideboard is such a statement piece as it is upholstered in a pink Ikat print fabric that features leopard spots. Handcrafted in England from lacquered oak wood veneers, it is accented with brass door frames, handles and legs. An award-winning British interior designer, Matthew is famous for his creative use of pattern and colour. In addition to his expanding portfolio of residential and commercial interior design projects, he also has a series of homeware collections. Fendi Casa too has statementmaking pieces such as the Blossom Screen, which sits upon rotating castors for easy movement. Conceived by Atelier Oï, the screen showcases an intricate system of mirrors and wooden shelves. Through a transdisciplinary and holistic approach, Atelier Oï has been committed to supporting experimentation and cultural interchange for 30 years. Architects and designers Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis, and Patrick Reymond formed the studio in 1991 in La Neuveville, Switzerland, as a result of their personal and professional ties.
