Entry requirements<br />
Three GCSEs at 4 or above to<br />
include English or maths and<br />
science and a range of other<br />
GCSEs at grade 3.<br />
What will I learn?<br />
You'll develop knowledge, skills<br />
and behaviours relevant to the<br />
health sector to enable you to<br />
become confident and ready to<br />
progress to the Level 3 T Level in<br />
Health. During the course, you will<br />
gain an understanding of subjects<br />
such as human lifespan, services,<br />
roles and responsibilities in health,<br />
including care values and effective<br />
communication.<br />
In addition you will have an<br />
opportunity to develop your<br />
understanding of science concepts<br />
and research to support your<br />
transition onto the T Level.<br />
T Levels are a new type of practical qualification<br />
designed by leading businesses.<br />
You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and<br />
20% on an industrial placement with one or more<br />
of our education and childcare<br />
partner employers.<br />
There will be a vocational experience<br />
unit where you will spend time<br />
in health care settings. You'll also<br />
develop a greater knowledge of<br />
personal and social development<br />
through career planning<br />
and creating a personal and<br />
professional portfolio. All learners<br />
will develop their digital skills and<br />
will have achieved GCSE maths on<br />
completion of the T Level Transition.<br />
Following the course you can step<br />
into employment, go onto an<br />
apprenticeship or a degree<br />
at university.<br />
