What will I learn?<br />
This course has been designed to<br />
give you the knowledge and skills<br />
to start your own business, enter<br />
employment or an apprenticeship.<br />
You’ll work on different business<br />
ideas considering the type of<br />
ownership and the skills and<br />
resources you will need to set up<br />
your business. Plus, you’ll get creative<br />
developing a brand name, logo and<br />
promotional material for<br />
your business.<br />
Understanding all things numbers<br />
and legal are vitally important to a<br />
business start-up and you’ll learn<br />
about HMRC and tax requirements<br />
including VAT, cash flow forecasts,<br />
invoices and payment receipts.<br />
You’ll also learn how to develop a<br />
robust and thorough business plan.<br />
Tourism is a multi-million pound<br />
industry and you’ll learn more about<br />
the sector here in the UK and get<br />
out and about visiting key tourist<br />
attractions.<br />
You’ll also develop your digital, IT<br />
and presentation skills throughout<br />
