Five GCSEs at 5 or above in<br />
English, maths and science.<br />
What will I learn?<br />
You’ll spend 315 to 750 hours<br />
on industry placements with<br />
employers, working as part<br />
of a team and learning the<br />
practical skills needed for jobs<br />
in early years and childcare.<br />
You’ll cover the knowledge portion<br />
of the course, learning through<br />
projects, presentations and<br />
innovative technology such as<br />
virtual reality. You'll also complete<br />
a paediatric first aid course to<br />
further strengthen your CV.<br />
On completion of the T Level,<br />
you’ll have the required license to<br />
practice at Level 3 which means<br />
you can seek work as a Teaching<br />
Assistant or a fully qualified Level<br />
3 Early Years Practitioner.<br />

What will I learn?<br />
This course will provide you<br />
with the knowledge and skills<br />
required to work with children 0-5<br />
years and additional knowledge<br />
of children 5-7 years. You will<br />
complete a minimum of 350<br />
hours industry placement,<br />
working alongside experienced<br />
Early Years Practitioners in<br />
education and childcare settings.<br />
In doing so you will gain valuable<br />
practical skills and experience<br />
needed to work with children.<br />
You will be involved in many<br />
practical sessions including care<br />
routines, healthy eating and craft<br />
activities for young children. Many<br />
of these lessons will take place<br />
in our dedicated early years<br />
learning suite which provides<br />
simulated nursery experiences.<br />
On completion of this course<br />
you will have achieved the<br />
required license to<br />
practice as a Level 3<br />
Early Years Educator.<br />
T Levels are a new type of practical qualification<br />
designed by leading businesses.<br />
You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and<br />
20% on an industrial placement with one or more<br />
of our education and childcare<br />
partner employers.<br />
