BEAUTY THERAPY.
Beauty Therapy
Level 1, 2 & 3
Duration
1 year at each level
Entry requirements
Level 1: Four GCSEs at 1-3,
preferably including English
and maths.
Level 2: Four GCSEs at 4-9
preferably including English
and maths.
Level 3: Level 2 beauty qualification
What will I learn?
These courses will give you the
skills, knowledge and experience
you need to pursue a career in the
beauty therapy industry.
You can start at Level 1 and work
your way up or go straight in at
Level 2 or Level 3 if you have the
grades required.
On the Level 3 course 'Advanced
Beauty Therapy Techniques'
you’ll develop further skills in body
and facial electro therapy,
body massage and tanning.
You’ll gain industry experience in
a professional salon and have the
chance to learn extra skills.
At all three levels, you’ll work in
our professional salon Botanica,
perfecting your customer care skills
and interacting with paying clients.
On completion, you can progress
into work or an apprenticeship,
a Level 4 qualification or foundation
degree in complementary health,
care or beauty therapy.
On the Level 1 course ' Beauty
Techniques for Beginners' you’ll
develop skills in skin care, hand care,
make-up application, face painting,
nail art, manicure and pedicure.
On the Level 2 course 'Intermediate
Beauty Therapy Techniques' you’ll
build on the skills covered at Level
1 and develop new skills in eye
treatments, hot waxing techniques
and be trained by Eve Taylor
specialists.
