► Puss In Boots: The Last Wish (Theaters)<br />

This fall, everyone’s favorite Leche-loving, swashbuckling, feardefying<br />

feline returns. Academy Award-nominee Antonio Banderas<br />

returns as the voice of the notorious PiB as he embarks on an epic<br />

journey into the Black Forest to find the mythical Wishing Star<br />

and restore his lost lives. But with only one life left, Puss will have<br />

to humble himself and ask for help from his former partner and<br />

nemesis: the captivating Kitty Soft Paws. In their quest, Puss and<br />

Kitty will be aided—against their better judgment—by a scruffy,<br />

chatty, relentlessly cheerful mutt, Perro. Together, our trio of<br />

heroes will have to stay one step ahead of Goldilocks, the Three<br />

Bears Crime Family, “Big” Jack Horner, and the terrifying bounty<br />

hunter, The Big Bad Wolf. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is directed by<br />

animation filmmaker Joel Crawford, director of The Croods 2: A New<br />

Age previously, plus the Trolls Holiday TV special.<br />

► Babylon (Theaters)<br />

From Damien Chazelle, Babylon is an original epic set in 1920s Los<br />

Angeles led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Diego Calva, with an<br />

ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, and Jean Smart. A<br />

tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise<br />

and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence<br />

and depravity in early Hollywood. Babylon is both written and<br />

directed by Oscar-winning American filmmaker Damien Chazelle,<br />

director of the films Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench, Whiplash,<br />

La La Land, and First Man previously.<br />

“Stay and fight or leave. They will not do nothing.” Set in 2010,<br />

the women from an isolated religious community grapple with<br />

reconciling their reality in a violent community with their faith.<br />

Women Talking is written and directed by acclaimed Canadian<br />

actress/filmmaker Sarah Polley, director of the films Away from Her<br />

and Take This Waltz previously, plus the documentary Stories We<br />

Tell, and a few shorts and TV work. Based on the best-selling book<br />

of the same name by Miriam Toews. It’s produced by Dede Gardner,<br />

Jeremy Kleiner, and Frances McDormand.<br />
