Ritual - Spring/Summer Planting Intentions
Spring and the beginning of Summer is the perfect time for
this ritual as it is both physical and symbolic. You can sow
real seeds along with the seeds of ideas or desires at the
same time:
This ritual is best worked on the new moon or during the
waxing moon up to the full moon.
You will need:
A packet of seeds (something you would like to grow, you
could go as far as looking into the different symbolism of
the correspondences of what you want to grow as a goal
with the seeds of the plants. For example, a sunflower
represents loyalty, love and longevity - this would be a
great seed to plant if you are looking to attract a new
romantic partner)
A seed tray
Some fine seed compost
A watering can with a fine head so that you do not
wash the seeds away
A tealight candle in a fireproof bowl.
A sage stick or your preferred way of cleansing your
space, such as with a drum or bell
The clear intention of what you want to achieve is written down
on a piece of paper.
1. Cleanse your working area, whether this is outside or inside
by smudging.
2. Ground & Centre yourself, stand up tall with your feet
planted firmly on the ground and imagine you have golden
roots growing down from your legs and feet, deep into the
soil and tying themselves strongly around a large crystal at
the centre of the earth.
3. Take 3 deep long and slow breaths.
4. Call on the power of the Universe to be with you as you
complete your ritual.
5. Holding the intentions in your hand, read them out aloud.
Make sure that they are written as if they have already been
achieved. For example, I am in a wonderful relationship with
my ideal partner and am completely fulfilled and happy.
6. Fill your seed tray with a little soil, light the candle and then
you can burn the words in the fireproof bowl.
7. Add the ashes of the intention to the soil and mix in, adding
more soil if required.
8. Plant your seeds and say the words:
As these seeds do start to grow
Take my dreams and make them so
Each time I do tend and care
Listen angels hear my prayer
9. Envision your Intentions Being Delivered to You.
