The Legends of fiipova

This is a prototype of the documentary with a historic
and educational character, which tells the story of
the fiipova Monastery from the moment of its appearance
as a Dacian fortress to present days, as well as the
legends surrounding the history of the monastery.

The Village in the Mirror
(documentary, dur: 22 min., directed by Leontina
VATAMANU)
The author of the film picked out two villages with
similar names in the Republic of Moldova and
Romania. The peasants talk about their joys and sorrows,
about their fellow villagers, traditions, the problems
they are facing in the period of transition, everything
that makes up the microuniverse of a village.

The Wine Cult

This is a film which attempts to show the significance
of wine for Moldovans. This drink, deeply rooted
in the culture of this people, is indispensable at events
of various importance.

La Dolce Vita
(documentary, dur: 25 min., directed by Leontina
VATAMANU)
The film tells the story of a family of Moldovan
peasants who having acquired land property could not
manage to pay the land tax and had to leave three children
at home and go to Italy to earn some money to
make both ends meet.

In 1999 OWH TV Studio produced 12 programs on
social and cultural topics called IMPACT + by Leontina
Vatamanu with extra - budgetary money (duration 15
min.). All these programs were broadcast on TVM.
