successes in fabricating these composite structures suggest that liquid phase sintering is a<br />

useful technique for freeform fabrication of heterogeneous ceramic metal composite<br />

structures. Figure 6.7 demonstrates a MLCC lattice assembled with the LFBT ink and<br />

BT:Ni=1:4 Ni'(m) ink, where the metallic electrode filaments are in silver color, and the<br />

LFBT is in light gray color due to loss of oxygen atoms during reducing atmosphere<br />

sintering. The low BT inclusion in the electrodes and terminations allows for good<br />

electric conductivity and a reasonable mechanical ductility.<br />
