Location: Nissarana Vanaye is of the Galduva tradition and is considered “the”<br />
meditation monastery <strong>in</strong> forest tradition history. Even today it functions well. At this<br />
po<strong>in</strong>t, three foreign monks live there, one of them German (Ven. Dhammaramita).<br />
Teacher and tradition: Ven. Dhammajiva Bhikkhu was tra<strong>in</strong>ed by Sayadaw U<br />
Pandita to be teacher. Vipassana meditation <strong>in</strong> the Mahasi tradition.<br />
Language(s): English and S<strong>in</strong>ghalese.<br />
Course duration and dates: Individual guidance, hence no particular dates to be<br />
observed. Intensive meditation practice.<br />
