The Pullman Sydney Penrith, part of the Accor
Pacific Group, is a new icon of top Australian
hospitality. Digital surprises await guests
at the hotel and in the integrated Western
Sydney Conference Centre. The 153 rooms
feature a smart suite system with tablets as
a service, information and communication
interface. For example, you can even call up
a sleep therapy menu on the tablets.
Installed in the blink of an eye
The reasons for the decision: The R&M product
is quick to assemble and terminate. Marc
Clews, QVR Senior Project Manager, says:
«The ease of use is great. The installation was
completed in no time at all.» In addition, R&M
meets quality, security and ESG requirements
and fits in with the «love for detail» for which
QVR is known.
QVR Communications was responsible for
the setup of the network infrastructure that
makes this exceptional convenience possible.
QVR used the shielded Cat. 6 A
EL connection
solution from R&M for 1,200 Class EA
connections. The outlets for active devices in
the rooms are also equipped with Cat. 6 A
EL
connectivity from R&M.
The high-quality LAN infrastructure guarantees
high-speed data transmission in the
hotel and conference center according to the
client’s wishes. The LAN supports a seamless
dedicated WiFi network for hotel rooms,
conference rooms and public areas.
A fiber optic backbone consisting of twelvecore
OM4 riser cables integrates two client
networks. They connect seven specialized
communication rooms. This infrastructure
benefits from a custom-made R&M solution
that QVR implemented professionally.
