In all three strategic market segments, the
focus continues to shift to the systems
business. Focal points include:
– FTTx for broadband, 5G and WiFi expansion,
and for smart cities
– Extended LAN and All IP solutions for smart
buildings
– «Integrated data center infrastructure
solutions» for the complete equipment of
computer rooms. R&M has cabling, distribution
platforms, network technology, racks
and enclosures manufactured in-house. The
latest technologies and products, such as
those for high density, power distribution,
sensors, airflow and cooling, are integrated
in the racks. Strategic partnerships integrate
complementary technologies and infrastructure
components.
The R&M Group intends to use this business
model to develop further over the next
decade. The driving force is the vision of
«unlimited communication», which is based
on holistic solutions for connectivity and
network infrastructures. Networks should
be available globally so that people and
companies can connect at all times without
limits and interruption.
