Koufi)al-Koufi (the first underlined narrator) is not a trustworthy reporter of Hadith.<br />

Imam Nisa'i says that Abdul Hameed Abu Yahya al-Hamani is not sound in reporting<br />

Ahadith. Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal (RA) has declared him "a weak narrator" <strong>and</strong> so has<br />

Ibn Sa'ad.<br />

2. Khaseef Bin Abdurrehman al-Jazri "Abu Aoun' al-Hadharmi al-Harrani has<br />

reported the Ahadith, from Ata'a, Ikrima, Abi Zubair, Sae'ed Bin Jubair, Mujahid,<br />

Muqsim, Abi Obaida Bin Abdullah Bin Masa'ud, Abdul Aziz Bin Jarieh father of Malik<br />

<strong>and</strong> others than them. Abu Talib said that Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal (RA) rated<br />

"Khaseef" as a weak narrator. Imam Ahmed (RA) said that "Khaseef" is neither an<br />

authority nor a trustworthy reporter.<br />

Imam Abdullah Bin Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal (RAA) said on the authority of his father<br />

i.e. Imam Ahmed (RA) said that "Khaseef" is not a trustworthy narrator; in addition, he<br />

is an extremely confused person in predicate (Musnad) i.e. in applying grammer to the<br />

sentences while reporting. He tends to mix up while constructing <strong>and</strong> speaking the<br />

sentences oh Ahadith. Abu Hatem Salah said that "Khaseef" had a weak memory <strong>and</strong><br />

narrated a hodge-podge of Ahadith. Imam Nisa'i called him reproofingly "a weak<br />

narrator". Ibn Adi said that Khaseef was weak in narrating <strong>and</strong> he narrated loads of the<br />

Ahadith (traditions). Similarly, Imam al-Dhahabi reported about Khaseef in these words:<br />

Khaseef Ibn Abdurrahman al-Jazri Abu Aoun was a slave of Banu Umayya (the<br />

Umayyad) <strong>and</strong> Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal (RA) has declared him as weak.<br />

Reported by Ibn Adi on the authority of Ibn Hammad that he narrated: Saleh related to<br />

me that he heard Ali say: I heard Yahya Bin Sae'ed say: I did not write anything from
