Data logging unit, MDRC 1 )
The data logging unit BDB/S 1.1 is a KNX device for serial
installation with 2 MW module widths. The device is used
for the recording of switch play and operating hours, for
example, of 35 switch actuator channels. In addition, limits
can be set. If the limits are exceeded, alarm messages are
transmitted on the bus. The BDB/S 1.1 is supplied by the
ABB i-bus ® KNX and requires no additional power supply.
The bus is connected through a bus connecting terminal
located on the front of the unit.
Dimensions: (L x W x D): 90 mm x 36 mm x 64 mm
Installation depth: 68 mm
module width: 2 MW
Meter interface unit, MDRC 1 )
The meter unit module records consumption and measured
values of electrical power consumption counters via
ABB i-bus ® . The device has an infrared interface by means
of which ABB can read power consumption counters of
the types DELTAplus, DELTAsingle, and ODIN respectively.
The read information and data, for example, can
be used for cost centre accounting, power optimisation,
visualisation, or installation monitoring.
Dimensions: (L x W x D): 90 mm x 72 mm x 64 mm
Installation depth: 68 mm
Power module * )
3-channel
The SM/S 3.16.30 current module permits the measurement
of load and/or fault currents.
For this purpose, it has 3 fl oating, independent power or
measuring circuits.
The current load and fault current value can be transmitted
as a 1-byte telegram via ABB i-bus ® KN X.
In addition, 2-bit switch programs can be transmitted via
ABB i-bus ® KNX when parameterised threshold values are
exceeded or undershot.
Inputs: 3
Fault monitoring unit, MDRC
The fault monitoring unit SMB/S 1.1 is used to detect up
to 100 fault messages via ABB i-bus ® KNX.
The fault messages are prepared in the module and can
be passed on to a display.
In addition, an optical and acoustic collective message is
available on the bus.
Messages can be acknowledged and data losses can be
indicated.
The SMB/S 1.1 supports the following message types defi
ned in DIN 19 235: indication with continuous light, new
value indication with light that fl ashes once, new value
indication with one-time acknowledgement, and motor
indication. Current values can be scanned in a centralised
manner.
Monitoring unit, MDRC
The KNX monitoring unit EUB/S 1.1 is used to monitor up
to 100 bus stations in ABB i-bus ® KNX installations.
Bus stations are monitored for existence and minimum
functionality.
For this purpose, four types of monitoring are available.
Individual bus subscribers can be collected in up to 5
groups for monitoring purposes.
Bus connection: via bus connecting terminal; mounting:
on support rail 35 mm, DIN EN 60715; width: 2 modules
with 18 mm each; degree of protection: IP20 DIN EN
Universal I/O concentrator 1 )
The universal I/O concentrator is used to connect
push-switches or signal lamps to ABB i-bus ® , e.g in an
operating/display panel. It has 32 channels, which are
freely parameterisable as inputs or outputs using ETS. The
device needs an external auxiliary voltage of 12 V DC or
24 V DC, e.g. NT/S 24,800.
Dimensions: (L x W x D): 90 mm x 72 mm x 64 mm
