The Trust is committed to providing safe and effective care for patients. To
ensure this there is an agreed procedure for medical staff that enables them
to report, quickly and confidentially, concerns about conduct, performance
or health of medical colleagues (Chief Medical Officer, December 1996). All
medical staff, practising in the Trust, should ensure that they are familiar
with the procedure and apply it.
Accommodation
Accommodation, both married and single, may be available, although its
availability to any particular doctor must depend on the position at the date
he/she takes up the appointment. Junior medical staff wishing to be nonresident
may be allowed to do so, but must always occupy a room in the
hospital when on-call.
Further Information
Further information is available from the department’s website
(www.chichesterdiabetes.org.uk) or by emailing Dr Laji:ken.laji@rwstr.nhs.uk
or Dr Bosman: deborah.bosman@rws-tr.nhs.uk.
Arrangements for visiting the hospital and meeting members of staff may be
made with the departmental secretary. (01243) 788122 ext 2725
