Provide flexible coupling(s) on the horizontal portion of in-rack sprinkler piping within 2 ft (0.6 m) of the connections to vertical pipe drops (see Fig. 20). G. When pipe drops supplying in-rack sprinklers are connected to overhead horizontal piping via an armover, no flexible couplings are needed on the armover.
