(IR) and Visual Routes (VR) which come under the cognizance of<br />

FACSFAC NPA.<br />

c. NAS Pensacola shall transmit or forward all flight<br />

plans, flight notifications, and VR and IR route entry/exit<br />

times as required.<br />

d. Each TRAWING SIX Squadron shall:<br />

(1) Fax one copy of the next day's flight schedule to<br />

NASP Base Operations as soon as possible but not later than 1800<br />

local time.<br />

(e).<br />

(2) Schedule IR/VR routes in accordance with reference<br />

(3) Maintain records of actual IR/VR usage for a period<br />

of one year from date flown. This data shall be forwarded to<br />

FACSFAC Pensacola (Code 302) and TW-6 (Code N33) by the fifth<br />

working day of each new quarter.<br />

(4) Ensure aircrews or duty officers give NASP Base<br />

Operations timely notification of pre-filed route cancellations<br />

or requests for "add on" pre-filed routes. Whenever possible,<br />

route requests, cancellations, or changes should be made as soon<br />

as known, but no less than 30 minutes prior to requesting<br />

clearance. "Add on" pre-filed routes with IR/VR legs require a<br />

minimum of two hours advance notification to FACSFAC prior to<br />

route entry for route deconfliction. "Add on" pre-filed routes<br />

delaying in Warning Area 155 (W-155) shall also be coordinated<br />

through FACSFAC.<br />

(5) Ensure aircrew comply with route structure and<br />

restrictions.<br />

(6) Provide flight following on all sorties utilizing<br />

pre-filed route flight plans which depart VFR for local training<br />

areas, outlying fields, or which contain VFR en-route delays.<br />

5. General<br />

a. Maximum use of all IR and VR routes is encouraged. It<br />

is prudent for each squadron to balance military training route<br />

usage to keep TRAWING SIX IR and VR routes in good standing.<br />

b. Changes to daily flight plans require additional<br />

handling which places an increase in workload on NAS Pensacola
