T-6 Low Altitude Training Rules<br />
1. Terrain clearance tasking takes priority over all Mission<br />
Tasking<br />
2. Minimum weather: 3000’ / 5 SM, must maintain VMC on route<br />
3. Pilot shall acknowledge all hazard calls and maneuver<br />
accordingly<br />
4. Any proximity warning shall be acknowledged by all aircrew<br />
(TAS/NACWS)<br />
5. Minimum Alt 1000 AGL on MTR’s; 2000 MSL on local VNAV routes<br />
6. Wingman is responsible for de-confliction / collision avoidance<br />
7. Wingman shall never fly below lead’s AGL altitude<br />
8. All tactical turns shall be thoroughly briefed<br />
9. Call “Blind” immediately, execute briefed lost sight procedures<br />
if wingman or lead not in sight<br />
10. Minimum formation airspeed is 180 KIAS<br />
11. On non-MTR VNAV routes required 333.3 VNAV calls: 2 minutes<br />
prior to entering route, target leg, and off target<br />
12. Any aircrew can call “knock it off” for any reason<br />
13. All aircrew/aircraft shall acknowledge a “knock it off” call<br />
14. “Knock it off” shall be called for the following:<br />
a. Training rule violation<br />
b. NORDO/Loss of ICS<br />
c. Loss of situational awareness<br />
d. Unsafe condition/emergency<br />
e. Unscheduled aircraft on the route<br />
f. Weather below 3000/5 or inadvertent IMC<br />
g. Departure, G-LOC, overstress<br />
h. Bird strike<br />
15. Following a “knock it off” aircraft shall climb to or maintain<br />
a safe altitude and determine if the mission will be continued or<br />
aborted<br />
