artist’s latter years. Fernando Castro Borrego and María
Dolores Jiménez-Blanco are professors of art history at the
University of La Laguna Pompeu Fabra University, respectively
and Mariano Navarro and Lázaro Santana are art critics. César
Manrique. Pintura forms a part of the ongoing endeavour to
catalogue the artist’s works undertaken by the FCM in 1995.
On the occasion of Miguel Ángel Blanco’s exhibition, the FCM
published a catalogue with texts by Aurora García,
Celebrating the universe; Jorge Wagensberg, Creation is
selection and the artist himself, The vulcanised eye: walking
for two weeks on solid fire. The bilingual (Spanish-English)
catalogue includes photos of all the works exhibited. A total
of 1,500 copies were printed.
The Publications Service printed the Annual Review 2002,
containing a bilingual (Spanish-English) summary of the
activities conducted by the FCM during the year.
FUNDING
As a private cultural institution, the FCM is self-funded and
invests its proceeds in the furtherance of its foundation goals.
Its annual budget is drawn up on the basis of revenues from
museum ticket sales and proceeds from the FCM stores,
which sell Manrique line products.
AUDIT
Every year, the FCM commissions KPMG AUDITORES to
conduct an external audit of its accounts.
