Where affectedemployees are represented by an authorized representative,said representative shall be served with a copyofsuch petition.(2) Affected employees or their representative mayfilean objection in writing to such petition with theaforesaidArea Director. Failure to file such objectionwithin ten (J 0) working days ofthe date ofposting ofsuch petition or of service upon an authorizedrepresentative shall constitute a waiver ofany fUrtherright to object to saidpetition.(3) The Secretary or his duly authOrized agent shallhave the authority to approve any petition formodification of abatement dated filed pursuant toparagraphs (b) and (c) of this section. Suchuncontested petitions shall become final orderspursuant to Sections 20(a) and 20(c) ofthe Act.(4) The Secretary or his authOrized representativeshall not exercise his approval power until the expirationoffifteen (J 5) working days from the date thepetition was posted or served pursuant to paragraphs(c)(J) and (2) ofthis section by the employer.(d) Where any petition is objected to by the Secretary oraffected employees, the petition, citation. and any objectionsshall be forwarded to the Hearing Examiner withinthree (3) working days after the expiration ofthe fifteen(15) day periodset out in paragraph (c)(4) ofthis Section.1903.16 PROPOSED PENAL17ES{Dec. 1,1997}(a) After, or concurrent with, th# .issuance ofa citation,and within a reasonable time after the termination ofthe
