Guidelines for AuthorsGuillermo de Ockham is a space open to all those who are interested in sharing texts which are theresult of research or academic reflection and which contribute to the broadening of cultural knowledgein all fields. Responsibility for judgments and views corresponds to the authors. The ones in chargeof the study and selection of the articles to be published are the Editorial and Scientific Committees,along with the evaluation of academic peers.Contributors agree to the publication of their work when they sign a document authorizing the useof patrimonial rights and intellectual property through the databases in which the journal is registeredor through its distribution in printed form. Furthermore, the author(s) of the document certify thatthe intellectual property rights of third parties are respected.Multidisciplinary Research SectionArticles based on the research of recognized academics or the work of young scholars who deserve tobe published due to their scientific contributions are published in this section. Although it is importantto confirm this, the main reason for publishing articles is the scientific rigor of the text.In order for articles to be considered for publication, the necessary form must be completed.Additionally, in the article’s introduction, the authors must clearly state the sort of investigation thatcorresponds to the results they wish to publish. In this sense, articles resulting from research approvedby fit institutions or from research undertaken as part of Masters or Doctoral studies are accepted.1. Scientific and technological research article: The product of a progress report or final report thatpresents, in detail, the original results of research projects.Structure: Introduction, methodology, results, and conclusions.2. Reflection article: These are texts in which the author presents the results of research with an analytic,interpretive and critical perspective. They are based on original observations or sources.Structure: introduction, subject review, development and conclusion.3. Review article: These are the systematization, analysis and balance of what is investigated regardinga particular problem. Their objective is to reveal conceptual, methodological andepistemological references, in addition to the advances and tendencies in the field investigated.They are characterized by presenting a careful analytical revision of at least 50 references.Structure: Introduction, statement of the issue, bibliography review, trends in knowledge, andconclusions.Publication in other sections of the journalAll explicit criteria (both for selection and editorials) apply to the publication of scientific articles.With regard to the other sections of the journal –Frontiers, Resemblances and Reviews– they do notrequire to be subject to research process.
