Brecha en exportación de bienes y servicios asociados a la minería La métrica asociada a exportaciones de bienes y servicios ligados a la industria minera establece alcanzar, al 2035, US$4.000 millones en exportaciones, lo que implicaría, al menos, igualar los montos exportados por la industria salmonera el año 2014. Fundación Chile, en conjunto con ProChile y la empresa Achilles realizaron, en el marco del Programa Nacional de Minería Alta Ley, el Primer Reporte de Exportaciones de Proveedores de la Minería Chilena. La tabla 2 muestra el número de empresas proveedoras y los montos exportados durante el período 2010 - 2014, las cuales alcanzaron un máximo durante 2012 de US$654 millones, y luego comenzaron a disminuir paulatinamente hasta llegar en 2014 a US$537 millones. Esta cifra tendría que aumentar al menos 7,4 veces para alcanzar la meta propuesta (US$4.000 millones).
