Desafío Nº4: Mayor seguridad y calidad en los ambientes de trabajo La preocupación por la seguridad laboral es un foco de atención constante de la industria minera. La tasa de accidentabilidad de la minería es la menor en comparación con el resto de las actividades económicas que se desarrollan en el país, mientras que la tasa de mortalidad ha ido disminuyendo paulatinamente. En el marco de esta Hoja de Ruta se identificó que este aspecto representa un importante desafío para la fase de exploración, en la cual se propone avanzar en el desarrollo de técnicas que permitan disminuir la intervención directa de los operadores.
