El Consejo de Administración de Alestis aprueba el plan de viabilidad que
debe garantizar el futuro de la empresa
El Consejo de Administración de Alestis Aerospace ha aprobado de manera definitiva el plan de viabilidad en el que se ha estado trabajando
durante los últimos meses y que tiene como objetivo garantizar el futuro de la compañía. Un plan que la empresa señaló como la “única respuesta
responsable” que puede evitar la pérdida de “unos 6.000 puestos de trabajo” y un “deterioro incalculable de la imagen de Andalucía y el
País Vasco como puntales del sector aeronáutico español”. El documento aprobado contiene la estrategia industrial y una batería de medidas
que deben permitir que el Tier 1 andaluz sortee los problemas que le acucian y que le llevaron a solicitar concurso voluntario de acreedores el
pasado mes de mayo. Tras su aprobación en el consejo de administración, el plan deberá pasar por los representantes de los trabajadores
y los administradores concursales, que a su vez darán traslado al juez que lleva el concurso. Aunque Alestis no ha ofrecido detalles sobre las
medidas que se llevarán a cabo, diversas fuentes apuntan a que el plan contempla el despido de unos 320 trabajadores (de manera progresiva
en 2012, 2013 y 2014), y el traslado de otros 200, en su mayoría desde las plantas de Sevilla a Cádiz. Asimismo, señalan que no se prevé
el cierre de ninguna de sus factorías (exceptuando la de El Trocadero en Cádiz, ya prevista para 2013), pero sí una reorganización de las líneas
de producción hacia su actividad estratégica. Una vez aprobado el plan, el próximo objetivo de Alestis es obtener financiación para asegurar
la continuidad de la actividad, para lo que se baraja una posible ampliación de capital y la entrada de algún nuevo socio que invierta en los
proyectos de la empresa, entre los que destacan los paquetes de trabajo del A350 y A380. “La ventaja a partir de ahora”, apuntó Alestis, “es
que el plan de viabilidad era la condición indispensable para que cualquier agente exterior sopesara apoyar a la compañía financieramente. Es
decir, que se está mucho más cerca de tener la seguridad financiera para mantener la actividad en los próximos años”.

The Board of Directors of Alestis Aerospace has definitively approved the feasibility plan with which it has been working for the
last months and which has as main goal warranting the future of the company. A plan that the company has defined as the “only
responsible answer” that may prevent the loss of “about 6,000 jobs” and an “incalculable damage to the image of Andalusia and
País Vasco as pillars of the Spanish aeronautic sector”. The document that has been approved contains the industrial strategy and
a series of measures to allow the Andalusian Tier 1 to overcome the pressing problems that forced them to put out to volunteer
creditors meeting last May. After the approval by the Board of Directors, the plan must be passed to workers representatives and
to trustees in insolvency, which, on their turn will bring it to the judge of the meeting. Although Alestis did not offer details about the
measures that will be taken, different sources point out that the plan will mean the redundancy of 320 workers (progressively, all
through 2012, 2013 and 2014), and moving another 200, mainly from the plant of Seville to Cadiz. Also, they remark that there is
no prevision of closing any factory (except for El Trocadero in Cádiz, already planed for 2013), but a reorganization of production
lines toward their strategic activity. Once the plan will be approved, the next goal for Alestis will be obtaining the financing necessary
to warrant the continuity of the activity, so there is the possibility of an increase in capital and the inclusion of a new partner to
invest in the projects of the company, among which there are the work packets of A350 and A380. “The advantage from now on”,
said Alestis, “is that the feasibility plan was the unavoidable condition for any external agent to consider a financial support to the
firm. That is to say, we are closer to reach the financial security as to maintain the activity in the coming years”.
