julio, se iniciaron en las instalaciones andaluzas los trabajos de montaje
del cuarto avión que se entregará a la Fuerza Aérea de Turquía.
Este modelo, que corresponde al tercero en la cadena de ensamblaje
con el número de serie 009, comenzó en mayo el proceso de
integración de las alas mientras que la unión del morro en el fuselaje
comenzó a finales de junio, según informó Airbus Military. El pasado
11 de julio llegaron a Sevilla los últimos componentes de este avión,
el estabilizador horizontal y el vertical, que en las últimas semanas
han comenzado a integrarse junto al resto de piezas ya existentes en
la planta andaluza.
La actividad en la FAL seguirá incrementándose gradualmente
hasta alcanzar una capacidad de fabricación de 2,5 aviones al mes
hasta finales de 2015. El fabricante europeo ha manifestado que la
producción industrial del programa tendrá una capacidad para fabricar
33 aeronaves a doble turno al año en la FAL en Sevilla, cuando
ésta funcione a pleno rendimiento en 2016, lo que también repercutirá
de manera importante en las empresas andaluzas del sector aeronáutico
implicadas en el proyecto.

Defense programs has placed an order with
Airbus Military to supply the UK’s first A400M
Full Flight Simulator (FFS). This contract
worth around 63 million euros also embraces
a Simulator Support System (SSS) to ensure
that its capabilities will be fully exploited for
flight training activities and military mission
rehearsal.

The United Kingdom orders a simulator to train future pilots of the A400M

been cooperating since 2007 on this simulator
and the Simulator Support System and
A400M training services for France and the
UK. The FFS incorporates visual and motion
technology developed by Thales and will be
developed and produced in the city of Crawley.
This will be the fourth simulator of this type
for A400M pilot and technician training. The
first of these is located in Airbus Military’s International
Training Center in Seville, the second
is in France and the third is in Germany.
The A400M customer nations are expected
to order additional simulators in the future.
