Coloration / Colours
Coloration par procédé inox-spectral
Inox-spectral colouring process
proposées : or, bleu cobalt, bleu acier, bronze,
vert, noir, champagne et gris anthracite
(uniquement sur inox poli grain 180). ◗
◗ This colouring process involves several
chemical and electrochemical phases during
which an extremely fine layer of
transparent chromium oxide is deposited
on the surface of austenitic stainless steel
1.4307 (304L) and 1.4404 (316L).
The colour does not alter the original finish,
whether brushed, mirror, grained or
engraved. The properties are the same as
the non-coloured stainless steel, which
means it can still be curved or even lightly
stamped without any damage. The colour
provides excellent resistance to ageing and
the chromium protects it from UV rays.
The maximum dimensions of the sheets
are 2000 x 6000 mm for a minimum
thickness of 0.5 mm. Mechanical assembly
techniques, such as screws, rivets or
flanging are recommended. Eight colours
are available: gold, cobalt blue, steel blue,
bronze, green, black, champagne and
anthracite grey (only on polished grain 180
stainless steel). ◗
