Our client is an international IT solution provider that helps clients plan, build and support their IT infrastructures.<br />
MISSION:<br />
Responsible for Organizational Change, you will be integral in<br />
defining, writing and setting the Change Strategy and then being<br />
a major force in driving this strategy through to implementation.<br />
Your responsibilities will include:<br />
• Installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting<br />
of large heterogeneous backup and storage infrastructure.<br />
• Incident handling with respect of targeted resolution • times.<br />
• Elaboration of operational guidelines/proce<strong>du</strong>res<br />
and technical documentation.<br />
• Evaluation, review and implementation<br />
of standards (best practices).<br />
• Participation in architectural design/reviews<br />
and relevant client meetings.<br />
• Implementation of design changes.<br />
• Ability to write and debug scripts in any one or more of the<br />
following operating systems (Solaris, Windows or Linux)<br />
• Solution driven and user-satisfaction oriented<br />
• Ability to work in a demanding environment<br />
where time flexibility is mandatory.<br />
• Technical knowledge of application environments<br />
and their interactions with storage/backup environments<br />
• Capabilities to manage small technical projects<br />
• Good knowledge, written and spoken,<br />
of English and/or French<br />
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience<br />
• Certification in SAN and/or NAS pro<strong>du</strong>ct(s)<br />
• Certification in at least one storage manufacturer's<br />
pro<strong>du</strong>ct range<br />
• Certification in Backup pro<strong>du</strong>cts.<br />
• Certification in either Solaris, Windows or Linux.<br />

• In-depth technical knowledge of EMC high-end hardware<br />
and management software, and Unix Solaris,<br />
Windows NT/2000+, Linux<br />
• In-depth knowledge of (some of): Oracle, Microsoft SQL<br />
Server, MS Exchange and TCP/IP networking (especially<br />
related to backup and storage)<br />
