L’Abeille
Named after the Napoleonic
emblem, the French gourmet
restaurant L’Abeille
at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris is
located in the former mansion of
Prince Roland Bonaparte.
Pierre-Yves Rochon has created
a cozy and luxurious setting
which awaits you in the garden, in
the south wing of the palace. The
palette of taupe and silver bespeaks
the intimacy of the place.
Bees forage here and there: The
embroidered silk curtains in the
house-Lelièvre were inspired by
a nineteenth century pattern from
its archives and the bee mischievously
adorns bread plates and
coffee cups.

Baptisé en hommage à l’emblème
napoléonien, le restaurant
gastronomique français
du Shangri-La Hotel Paris se
situe dans l’ancien hôtel particulier
du Prince Roland Bonaparte.
Pierre-Yves Rochon a imaginé un
écrin au luxe feutré qui vous attend
côté jardin, dans l’aile sud du
palais. La palette de gris taupe et
argent, souligne l’intimité du lieu.
L’abeille, butine çà et là : brochée
sur les rideaux de taffetas, la maison
Lelièvre s’est inspirée d’un
motif XIXème de ses archives,
sur les assiettes à pain ou encore
dans les tasses à café.

Llamado así en honor al emblema
de Napoleón, el restaurante
gastronómico francés
del Shangri-La Hotel París,
está situado en la antigua mansión
del príncipe Roland Bonaparte.
Pierre-Yves Rochon ha creado un
ambiente acogedor y lujoso que le
espera al lado del jardín, en el ala
sur del palacio. La paleta de marrones
y plata, acentúa la intimidad
del lugar. La abeja, liba aquí
y allá: en las cortinas de seda bordadas
por la casa Lelièvre, que se
inspiró en un modelo del siglo XIX
de sus archivos, en los platitos de
pan o en las tazas de café.
