10. Last drink at the Aviator Bar
And what better way to end a long and wonderful stay in Dublin but
having a last drink at The Aviator Bar! – The Aviator Bar is located
on the first floor of the Cliff Town House and offers an extensive
cocktail list including the classics, as well as more than 20 Irish
whiskeys, including the unmistakable Midleton 1973 (fruity, honeyed,
spicy and with a touch of leather nose followed by a taste
of sherry nuttiness, vanilla and sweet oak). The finish is delicious.
But the most exciting cocktails, like “Garden Mint Crush” or “Lemon
& Elderflower Martini” are created by Richard Linden, the
executive Barman. He uses only their own home-made flavoured
sugar syrups, herbs from their own garden and the best Irish spirits.
On a summer night, go to the terrace, have a look at the starry sky,
take a deep breath of Ireland and drink in the essence of Dublin
