The Design
Dock Kitchen is situated in a
Victorian Wharf Building overlooking
the Grand Union Canal,
previously the staff canteen for
Richard Branston’s Virgin Records
recording studios. The linear
space is now being used to
create a series of distinct environments
including a dining hall,
salon, chef’s table, private dining
room and bar lounge. The
transformation sees the restaurant
double in size to accommodate
80 covers.
Le Design
The Dock Kitchen est situé dans
un bâtiment victorien du quai donnant
sur le Grand Union Canal,
qui était précédemment la cantine
du personnel des studios Virgin.
L'espace linéaire est maintenant
utilisé pour créer une série d'environnements
distincts: salle à manger,
salon, la table du chef, salle à
manger privée et un salon bar. La
transformation du restaurant permet
de doubler sa taille et accueillir
80 couverts.

Diseño
The Dock Kitchen está situado en
un edificio victoriano del muelle con
vistas al Grand Canal Union, que
anteriormente era el comedor del
personal de los estudios Virgin. El
espacio lineal se utiliza para crear
una serie de ambientes distintos:
comedor, sala de estar, la mesa
del chef, un comedor privado y un
bar-salón. La transformación del
restaurante ha permitido duplicar
su capacidad podiendo recibir 80
comensales.
