mother, a nurse, an accountant, a<br />
diplomat and so much more. She<br />
is the one who taught us to always<br />
aim high, and never let ourselves<br />
be discouraged.<br />

In the year 1977, the United<br />
Nations chose the eighth day of<br />
the month of March as International<br />
Women's Day. We know<br />
women deserve to be honored at<br />
all times because all the roles they<br />
have been playing ever since the<br />
dawn of humanity, make them incomparable,<br />
irreplaceable beings<br />
worthy of respect and protection.<br />
As a matter of fact, we often<br />
see the woman as a fragile and<br />
vulnerable being, both from a<br />
physical and from a psychological<br />
standpoint.<br />
We are right in thinking<br />
that women absolutely<br />
deserve to be protected<br />
by society. However,<br />
when we consider the<br />
duties, attributions and<br />
obligations that have<br />
been theirs since the beginning<br />
of time, we discover<br />
in them a special<br />
kind of fortitude that<br />
places them above men.<br />
Even though woman is mother of<br />
humanity and its ultimate guarantee<br />
of survival, she carries herself<br />
with such stoicism and such selflessness<br />
that the world sees her as<br />
