be savoured in a thousand ways. If you're curious, visit the
Maison du Brie in Meaux to learn more about the history of
this cheese. And to get to know the secrets of its manufacture,
take a detour through the cheese factory of Meaux
Saint-Faron, one of the few places that produce Brie de
Meaux AOP! To celebrate its iconic cheese, Meaux Marne
Ourcq Tourisme, the Confrérie du Brie de Meaux and the
City of Meaux are laying the table for a second edition of
Brie Happy!
Throughout a weekend full of gourmet delights and joy, (re)
discover the history and inimitable taste of Brie de Meaux
and meet the men and women who make it. A 100% local
market will take place in the heart of the episcopal city.
Numerous culinary events and tastings will be offered free
of charge throughout the weekend.
The whole city of Meaux will come together for Brie time
through various activities by local retailers and restaurants.
At the end of the weekend, a Brie will be awarded the title
of "Best Brie de Meaux 2022" during the National Brie de
Meaux Competition held by the Brotherhood (Confrérie) of
the same name! An event to share with the whole family and
without holding back. The whole city of Meaux will come
together for Brie time through various activities by local
retailers and restaurants.
