Remontez le long du quai Gambetta. Sur votre droite, des
rues en escaliers vous amèneront au quartier de la Beurière.
Dans le quartier s'entassait, jusqu'à la veille de la
seconde guerre, la majeure partie de la population navigante
de Boulogne. Profitez-en pour visiter la Maison de
la Beurière, authentique maison de pêcheur. Et enfin, direction
la plage par le quai Gambetta, profitez-en pour visiter Nausicaa,
Centre National de la Mer, qui propose un dispositif, unique
au monde, de réalité augmentée dans sa grande baie de 100m 2
de surface.

Go back up along Quai Gambetta. On your right, staircase
streets will take you to the La Beurière district. Until the
cusp of the Second World War, most of the seafaring population
of Boulogne was crammed into the neighbourhood.
Take the opportunity to visit the Maison de la Beurière, an
authentic fisherman's house. And finally, going towards
the beach by Quai Gambetta, take the opportunity to visit
Nausicaa, Centre National de la Mer (National Sea Centre),
which has a unique augmented reality installation in its
large bay with a surface area of 100m2.

France-Portugal et avec le partenariat
exceptionnel du Museu
Nacional de Arte Contemporânea,
le Chateau-Comtal / Musée
de Boulogne-sur-Mer consacre
une exposition au grand peintre
portugais Veloso Salgado (1864-
1945). Celle-ci revient en peintures
et en mots sur les années de
formation de l'artiste en France et
notamment sa rencontre avec les
peintres de Wissant, sur les côtes
du Pas-de-Calais.

itinerary of a Portuguese painter
As part of the France-Portugal
Season and with the exceptional
partnership of the Museu
Nacional de Arte Contemporânea,
Chateau-Comtal/Musée de
Boulogne-sur-Mer is dedicating
an exhibition to the great Portuguese
painter Veloso Salgado
(1864-1945). It is brought to life
through paintings and words on
the artist's years spent training
in France, and in particular his
meeting with the painters from
Wissant, on the coast of Pas-de-
Calais.
