Has Fulfilled General University Requirements
and
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE PROGRAMME
Possess any one (1) Diploma in the field of music from the following
Institutions:
• Diploma in Music from the Malaysian Institute of Art; or
• Diploma (Music) from the Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan
Kebangsaan Malaysia (ASWARA) (Formerly Akademi Seni
Kebangsaan); or
• Diploma in Contemporary Music from University College
Sedaya; or
• Diploma in Music from the Yamaha Academy of Arts & Music,
Malaysia; or
• Diploma in Music from UiTM;
or
Possess three (3) years of experience working in the field of music as
teacher/lecturer and possess at least one (1) Diploma from Lembaga
Peperiksaan Musik as follows:
• Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM); or
• Trinity College London (TCL); or
• Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSDM); or
• London College of Music (LCM); or
• Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB)
Possess at least one (1) of the following qualifications:
or
• Sijil Perguruan Asas Malaysia and Sijil Perguruan Khas in
music
or
• Diploma Perguruan Malaysia in music
• Sijil Muzik recognized by the Senate as equivalent;
or
or
Passed STPM programme not in the current year by fulfilling the
specific programme requirements as follows :
Candidate should possess at least one of the following qualifications:
Yamaha Certificate Grade 7;
or
Grade 5 ABRSM certificate and Trinity College London (TCL) in
practical and theory;
or
A credit in Music at the SPM level;
