For this operation it is advisable to:• Unfasten the screws that attach the lower smoke deflector no.13 (for monobloc 510 only);• Remove an Aluker ® backplate (for monobloc 510 only);• Raise the lower deflector at the front and, twisting it on one side until you find the correct angle, lower itcarefully towards the firebed and then remove it. Carry out the same procedure with the upper deflector;• Clean the parts and reassemble them in the reverse order.Cleaning the Aluker ®The interior of the product is constructed of an innovative material called “Aluker®”.“Aluker®” is a material based on substances that are completely non-toxic and heat resistant (up to 1400°C).Another of its important characteristics is its good mechanical strength; it is however recommended that you do notthrow large pieces of wood with force against the firebricks.“Aluker®” darkens when the fire is first lit but returns to its natural colour gradually as the bricks warm up.Some points of advice for efficient use of the “Aluker®” firebricks:• Don’t throw in water to put out the fire and let the bricks cool down by themselves;• Don’t scratch the “Aluker®” bricks with anything metal;• Just use an ordinary brush to clean the “Aluker ®” firebricks.Warning: never utilize hard objects or those that can cause scratches to clean the Aluker®.Self-closing door systemCAUTION: THIS OPERATION SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT BY SPECIALISED PERSONNEL.The self-closing rise n’fall door system must be checked periodically, at least once every two years; the pulleyslocated inside the double-glazing must be lubricated in particular.56
