Il film racconta la storia di Paolo, 33
anni, che, dopo aver scontato 10 anni di
carcere, viene affidato a una comunità
di recupero. Il giovane porta dentro di
sé un forte senso di colpa per un grave
episodio di cui è stato responsabile e
il parroco della comunità, interpretato
da Giorgio Colangeli, cerca in tutti i
modi di aiutarlo, affidandogli anche un
compito, ovvero quello di denunciare
un grande crocifisso in una chiesa
abbandonata da cui era stato portato
via qualche anno prima. Per Paolo
questo “viaggio” sarà l’occasione per
“tornare indietro” e affrontare tutti i
fantasmi del suo passato.
The film tells the story of 33-year-old Paolo
who, after serving 10 years in prison, is
entrusted to a recovery community. The young
man carries within himself a strong sense of
guilt for a serious episode he was responsible
for and the priest of the community, played
by Giorgio Colangeli, tries in every way to help
him, also entrusting him with a task, that is to
report a large crucifix in an abandoned church
from where it had been taken away a few
years earlier. For Paolo, this “journey” will be
an opportunity to “go back” and face all the
ghosts of his past.

e le tribolazioni di San Nettario di Egina,
sopportando l’odio ingiusto dei suoi
nemici mentre predica la Parola di Dio.
Exiled unjustly, convicted without trial,
slandered without cause. Man of God depicts
the trials and tribulations of Saint Nektarios
of Aegina, as he bears the unjust hatred of his
enemies while preaching the Word of God.
