l’astice, l’argosta e tutti i crostacei, gli spaghetti allo scoglio, la frittura

appena pescata. Anche se domina il pesce la carta prevede

piatti per vegetariani e celiaci. Lo staff, ben collaudato dopo anni

di “stagioni” passate insieme, è coetano dei giovani proprietari, Il

modo giusto per tenere lo stesso passo e fare squadra. A partire

dal maitre Christian che si dedica in particolare al Ristorante Marinellina.

Per la sua passione e competenza sceglie i vini, insieme

a Federico, marito di Beatrice che lo fa per mestiere, assicurando

alla cantina, oltre che alla cucina, prodotti di qualità e andando a

ricercare bottiglie particolari, di piccoli produttori interessanti.

Sono molti i clienti che frequentano il Marinella da quando erano

bambini: comprensibile. Si torna sempre nei luoghi dove ci si

sente a casa.

HOTEL MARINELLA & RISTORANTE MARINELLINA

Half-way along the promenade of Marciana Marina, the

Hotel Marinella stands out as the only one in the village

that overlooks the sea. From the flowered balconies you

can enjoy spectacular sunsets and the sound of the waves

and the authentic scent of the island wafts in through the

windows.

From their grandfather Francesco who originated from

Amalfi and founded the Marinellina restaurant in the 50s,

the Torino family inherited the talent for hospitality. Having

travelled on the great ocean liners as chef, he had brought

international cuisine to the town, attracting many protagonists

of the jet set of those years to the island. With the

help of grandmother Iris, he opened the first rooms on the

terrace of the restaurant. Today it has 58 delightful rooms

equipped with every comfort and facilities for every need,

even for families.

There is a beautiful garden and swimming pool for periods

of relaxation. The new energy comes from Francesco’s three

granddaughters, Benedetta, Federica and Beatrice, together

with Francesco, Alberto’s son. His sister Valentina, although

she has another job, does not mind helping out when needed.

Then it will be the turn of their children: Sveva, the eldest,

already gives a hand in the summer. Today, in addition

to the Hotel, the young Torinos have relaunched the Marinellina,

assisted by Cristian, Roberto and Federico along

with a tried and tested young staff that work well together

like a family. Their signature dishes are spiny and clawed

lobsters and all shellfish, spaghetti with seafood, freshly

caught fish popped in the fryer. Although fish dominates,

the menu does include dishes for vegetarians and celiacs.

Many guests have been coming to the Marinella since they

were children: understandable, they always return to the

places where they feel at home.
