The aim of this study is to <strong>de</strong>al with the importance of the ergonomist’s social skills<br />
(which we will call facilitation skills) for the success of the process of positive transformation<br />
of the work situations in the companies. We estimated that the facilitation skills are essential for<br />
an efficient ergonomist performance during the process of ergonomic action in the companies.<br />
We consi<strong>de</strong>r as facilitation skills the different levels of social behaviors to <strong>de</strong>al with the specific<br />
<strong>de</strong>mands of social interactions in the context of the Ergonomics. It enables an efficient<br />
ergonomist performance throughout his action in the companies. We try to establish which<br />
facilitation skills are more important in each stage of the Ergonomic Work Analysis. With the<br />
objective to improve the formation of new professionals, a Facilitation Skill Training is applied<br />
in some stu<strong>de</strong>nts of an Ergonomics Specialization Course. The training results were consi<strong>de</strong>red<br />
satisfactory by the stu<strong>de</strong>nts.<br />
