“Esse carro é do meu pai, estou representando ele aqui
hoje. Já tem mais de 15 anos que utilizamos o Maverick,
entre uma reforma ou outra”, conta Diego Silva. “Ele é a
grande paixão da família inteira, chegou para gente em um
dia que era para ser triste, mas foi feliz: um domingo de
finados chuvoso. Antes disso, meu pai e meu tio tiveram
um Maverick GT, que ficou na lembrança deles. Então,
comprar esse foi uma forma de reencontro com o passado”
1972 SUPER MAVERICK
“This car is my father’s, I’m representing him here today.
For more than 15 years we have used the Maverick, between
one restoration and another,” says Diego Silva. “It is the
passion of the whole family, it came to us in a day that was
supposed to be sad, but it turned out to be a happy one: All
Souls’ Day, a rainy Sunday. Before that, my father and my
uncle had a Maverick GT that has stayed in their memory.
So buying this was a form of reunion with the past.”
MAVERICK SEDAN 1977
Anderson Silva, farmacêutico e apaixonado por
Mavericks, levou para o evento o último modelo que
adquiriu. “É típico americano, o último em que foi
fabricado”, enaltece. “Ele tem de acessórios direção
hidráulica e câmbio automático na coluna. É raro de
se ver um motor seis cilindros em linhas. Não tem o
que falar, é um veículo maravilhoso”

Anderson Silva, Pharmacist and Maverick lover,
took the latest model he purchased to the event. “It’s
typically American, the last which was manufactured,”
he extols. “It’s got power steering accessories and automatic
transmission on the column. It’s rare to see an
in-line six-cylinder engine. There is nothing else to say, it
is a wonderful vehicle.”
