Deu aquela tristeza de parar um personagem que deu
tão certo, mas ao mesmo tempo foi bom
Prefere atuar ou cantar?
Estou adorando cantar, mas gosto de atuar também. Gosto
de papéis bacanas, que me desafiem.
Está escrevendo uma peça para sua filha. Como é esse
projeto?
Vamos remontar a peça Eros Uma Vez, baseada no
mito de Eros e Psiquê, que já fiz na década de 80. É
uma linguagem infantojuvenil, não muito criança e não
adulta. Minha filha está querendo ser atriz, então estamos
brincando com isso.
Apoia a ideia?
O mundo artístico é um funil super apertado, não depende
só de talento. Tem muita concorrência. É uma profissão
difícil, mas ela nasceu nos camarins e bastidores, então
é natural que tenha vontade de seguir nesse rumo. Estou
dando apoio, é claro.
O que gosta de fazer nas horas vagas?
Gosto de não fazer nada. Gosto de tocar com amigos,
ficar brincando. Pegar onda. Estou com o joelho meio
machucado, mas adoro o contato com a natureza. Sou
eclético, gosto do mato, mas gosto de Nova Iorque e
Tóquio. Sou 8 e 80. Gosto muito de viajar. Nossa carreira
propicia isso e é algo que tenho muito prazer.
Quais são seus esportes favoritos?
Já fiz de tudo. Quando tinha joelho, adorava jogar bola,
pegar onda. Fiz judô, jiu jitsu. Gosto muito de esportes.
Atualmente faço stand up, tenho uma prancha inflável
que levo nas viagens.
O que faz para se manter jovem?
Procuro fazer o que gosto, trabalhar no que gosto, me
exercitar. Como bem e saudável. Não estou bebendo mais
álcool. Meu pai era vegetariano, então desde pequeno
éramos obrigados a comer um pouquinho de cada coisa,
legumes e essas coisas.
Gosta de Curitiba?
Adoro Curitiba. Toquei em shows memoráveis na Pedreira
e na Ópera de Arame. É uma cidade aconchegante.
Tenho vários amigos. Fiz um show no final do ano passado
no Teatro Positivo que foi sensacional. Tenho um
carinho muito grande por Curitiba.

Do you prefer acting or singing?
I love singing, but I like to act too. I like cool roles, which
challenge me.
You are writing a play for your daughter. How is this
project going?
We are redoing the play, Eros Uma Vez, based on the
myth of Eros and Psyche, which I did in the 80’s. It is in a
juvenile language, not very child-like but not very adult-
-like, either. My daughter wants to become an actress, so
we’re playing with it.
Do you support her in this?
The art world is a super small funnel, not just talent. There
is plenty of competition. It is a difficult profession, but
she was born amongst dressing rooms and stage hands,
so it is natural that she wants to go down this path. I’m
supporting it, of course.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like doing nothing. I like to jam with friends, joking
around. Ride a wave. I have a bum knee, but I love the
contact with nature. I am eclectic, I like the country, but
I like New York and Tokyo. I go all out. I love to travel. My
career needs it and it’s something that I’m very happy with.
What are your favorite sports?
I’ve done everything. When my knee was healthy, I loved
to play ball, ride a wave. I did judo, jiu jitsu. I’m very fond
of sports. Currently, I do stand up paddle surfing, I have
an inflatable board that I travel with.
What do you do to stay young?
I try to do what I like, I work on what I like, and exercise.
I eat well and healthily. I don’t drink alcohol any more.
My father was a vegetarian, so since I was a kid, I was
forced to eat a little bit of everything, vegetables and stuff.
Do you like Curitiba?
I love Curitiba. I have played some memorable shows
in the Pedreira and at the Opera de Arame. It is a warm
and welcoming town. I have various friends. I put on a
show at the end of last year at the Teatro Positivo that was
sensational. I have a heartfelt feeling for Curitiba.
