“Bombinhas ostentou por anos o título de Capital Nacional<br />
do Mergulho Ecológico. E isto não mudou. As escolas seguem<br />
recebendo os novatos, que querem fazer cursos, e os veteranos<br />
apaixonados pela emoção de conhecer as ricas fauna e flora<br />
marinhas, nesta região de Santa Catarina. A transparência da<br />
água é o diferencial em relação a outras partes do Brasil”,<br />
destaca Mário.<br />
Outra atração na área de esportes são as travessias. Durante<br />
o ano são realizadas nove etapas de natação em mar<br />
aberto nas praias de Bombinhas. Para quem prefere as práticas<br />
terrestres, o Indomit, realizado no mês de agosto, é a pedida.<br />
Consiste em diferentes provas: uma maratona de 42 km e<br />
corridas menores de 12 km e 21 km, além da Indomit Kids.<br />
GASTRONOMIA<br />
Uma atração à parte para os turistas são as opções gastronômicas.<br />
Os bares, cafés e restaurantes servem refeições<br />
de alta qualidade e com variedade de sabores. Mas, como<br />
toda cidade litorânea, os carros-chefes são os pratos a base de<br />
frutos do mar. Os variados restaurantes, alguns com vista para<br />
o mar, trazem no menu pescados, lulas, camarões, polvos,<br />
ostras e mexilhões, os dois últimos cultivados na Enseada de<br />
Zimbros e Canto Grande.<br />
CULTURA LOCAL<br />
Quem gosta de viajar e imergir de verdade na cultura da<br />
região visitada não pode deixar de colocar na agenda uma<br />
visita ao museu comunitário Engenho do Sertão. A instituição<br />

Bombinhas. For those who prefer land, there is Indomit, held in<br />
August. Indomit consists of different races: a 42 km marathon,<br />
and the shorter 12 and 21 km races, as well as Indomit Kids.<br />
FOOD<br />
Another attraction for tourists is the gastronomic options.<br />
The bars, cafes and restaurants serve high quality meals with<br />
a variety of flavors. But like any coastal town, the finest dishes<br />
are based on seafood. There are various restaurants, some<br />
with sea views, that have menus with fresh fish, squid, shrimp,<br />
octopus, oysters and mussels, with the latter two grown in<br />
Enseada de Zimbros and Canto Grande.<br />
LOCAL CULTURE<br />
For those who like to travel and really immerse themselves<br />
in the culture of the region, they have to schedule a visit to the<br />
Museu Comunitário Engenho do Sertãol (Community Museum<br />
of the Country Mil). The Museum is maintained by the NGO,<br />
