AS PERSPECTIVAS
DE CRESCIMENTO
DOS GERADORES
CASEIROS SÃO
UMA APOSTA
CERTA PARA A
ECONOMIA
energia do país.
ENERGIA SOLAR
of solar photovoltaics and increased electricity rates,
coupled with a trend of greater environmental awareness,
have contributed to this trend.
The expansion of home generators comes after changes
in the legislation made starting in 2012, which began to
provide incentives for the installation of "prosumer" power
plants - generators installed on the consumer’s own premises.
The trend is for even greater growth: according to a
study by the Energy Research Company (EPE), the technical
potential of the distributed generation of photovoltaic solar
energy. If photovoltaic panels were just installed on the
roofs of all homes in Brazil, is 164 GW – a volume equivalent
to 230% of the residential energy demand in the Country.
SOLAR ENERGY
One of the fronts in this market is the micro solar energy
generator: according to data from Aneel, this type of energy
generation has grown by over 400% in the last 12 years.
The growth is a result of the changes in the regulations,
starting in 2015, where the size of micro-generators was
increased. “The maximum size of the systems increased
to 5 MW and compensation mechanisms were created for
