ABOUT VISIONWARE ACADEMY
Created in 2018 by VisionWare, a Portuguese
company specialized in Information Security,
VisionWare Academy is a service whose main goal is
to provide knowledge, promoting the adoption of an
Information Security culture, through the awareness
and reinforcement of the skills of its trainees.
Certified by DGERT (Directorate-General for
Employment and Labor Relations), VisionWare,
through its Academy, has a specific designed
training plan focusing on five new training cycles:
1) Information Security; 2) Data Protection; 3)
Information Security Officer; 4) Privacy Management;
and 5) Safety in Teaching.
Through e-learning modality, each training cycle
has an unique plan with adapted courses to each
theme. The courses are open to Companies and
Organizations, and can be held in person, online or in
a hybrid format.
VisionWare’s daily activity reveals that the human
factor is still one of the main responsible reasons for the
consummation of threats and that these can come
from outside as well as from within the organization
itself. In this sense, in addition to being essential to
settle a solid structure capable of responding to
threats that come from abroad, VisionWare believes
that it is crucial to invest in the information security
triad (confidentiality, integrity and availability of
information), which is why it is vital to look into the
organization, to deliver training and self-awareness
to people so that they are conscious and do not
become themselves vehicles of threat.
