decorrente da falta de qualificações da nossa
população em geral e da população ativa
em particular e, consequentemente, da nossa
economia. Portugal tem excelentes infraestruturas
digitais, mas que infelizmente não são usadas no
seu potencial máximo pela nossa população. Há
que elevar o nível geral dessas qualificações na
população em geral, esbater desigualdades, para
que todos possam participar nesta verdadeira
revolução digital, e promover a adesão de uma
força de trabalho cada vez maior ao nosso setor.
O nosso setor é um grande criador de emprego,
pode contribuir para aumentar as exportações de
serviços e alavancar também a exportação de
serviços de outros setores e, ainda, contribuir para
equilibrar a utilização do nosso território, levando
mais oportunidades de trabalho para o interior.
A APDC está a fazer o seu papel nesta importantíssima
oportunidade, através de programas como o
UPskill, e ainda através da colaboração direta
com Associados que possuem a sua própria
oferta tecnológica, na qual é importante formar
utilizadores, bem como técnicos especializados. Os
nossos eventos e produtos digitais contribuem para

BETTING ON DIGITAL TALENT
But none of this can be achieved without changing
the situation arising from the lack of qualifications of
our population in general and the working population
in particular and, consequently, of our economy.
Portugal has excellent digital infrastructures, but
unfortunately they are not used to their full potential
by our population. We need to raise the general level
of these qualifications in the general population, blur
inequalities, so that everyone can participate in this
true digital revolution, and promote the adhesion of
an increasingly larger workforce to our sector.
Our sector is a great creator of jobs, can contribute
to increase our exports of services and also leverage
the export of services from other sectors, and also
contribute to balance the use of our territory, taking
more job opportunities to the interior.
APDC is playing its part in this very important
opportunity, through programs like Upskill, and also
through direct collaboration with Associates that have
their own technological offer, in which it is important
to train users, as well as specialized technicians.
Our events and digital products contribute to an
increasingly deeper discussion of the potential of our
sector, in Portugal and worldwide.

The collaboration between APDC and IDC for the
creation of this directory aims to fill an existing gap
in the national panorama of the sector through the
promotion of the companies present in it, giving it
the necessary visibility for all those who want to know
more about our market.
We want to contribute to making companies, their
offerings, and their top executives known. It is a
fruitful collaboration, already tested by time, and
that we seek to improve every year, with the inclusion
of more organizations and more indicators. It is our
contribution to give greater visibility to the sector and
