últimos resultados da bússola da sustentabilidade, pesquisa
realizada desde 2017 pelo Observatório Sistema Fiep,
detectaram um maior interesse dos gestores de indústrias
de menor porte nos temas ligados ao ESG. E, para estimular
ainda mais as empresas a se envolverem nesse tema,
o Sistema Fiep lançou recentemente a chamada ESG. Em
sua primeira etapa, essa iniciativa está ofertando mentorias
subsidiadas às indústrias. Na segunda, pretende financiar
projetos de inovação relacionados a processos ou produtos
sustentáveis. Até 2024, a meta é que essa chamada beneficie
mil indústrias paranaenses.
QUAIS AS PRIORIDADES PARA AS INSTITUIÇÕES
QUE COMPÕEM O SISTEMA FIEP?
As casas Sesi, Senai e IEL (Instituto Euvaldo Lodi) são
ferramentas indispensáveis para ajudar nessa transformação
que pretendemos fazer para tornar o Paraná um
território cada vez mais adequado para o desenvolvimento
da indústria. Cada uma em sua área de atuação – o Sesi na
segurança e saúde do trabalhador e na educação básica, o
Senai na capacitação profissional e no apoio à tecnologia e
inovação e o IEL na educação executiva e na intermediação
com a academia –, essas instituições devem olhar sempre
para as necessidades e tendências que afetam diretamente
o crescimento da indústria e atuar para o seu fortalecimento.
QUAL LEGADO QUE PRETENDE DEIXAR DA SUA
GESTÃO?
Como já foi comentado, nosso principal objetivo é
contribuir para a construção de uma política industrial efetiva
e eficiente para o Paraná. O que queremos é mostrar
que a indústria é fundamental para o desenvolvimento de
qualquer território, porque traz um retorno muito grande
para a sociedade em termos de empregos, renda, tributos
e riquezas. É ela quem mais tem condições de fazer girar a
economia de uma região. Então, queremos fazer com que
a indústria consiga mostrar seu valor e alcance meios adequados
para crescer e desenvolver ainda mais o Paraná.

in Paraná among small and medium companies. The latest
results of the Sustainability Compass, a survey conducted
since 2017 by the Fiep System Observatory, detected a greater
interest of managers of smaller industries in ESG-related
topics. To encourage companies to get involved in this
topic, the Fiep System recently launched the ESG Program.
In its first stage, this initiative is offering subsidized mentoring
to industries. In the second stage, it intends to finance
innovation projects related to sustainable processes or products.
By 2024, the goal is that this Program will benefit a
thousand companies in Paraná.
WHAT ARE THE PRIORITIES FOR THE INSTITU-
TIONS THAT MAKE UP THE FIEP SYSTEM?
Sesi, Senai, and Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL) provide
indispensable tools to help in this transformation, and we
intend to make Paraná an increasingly suitable territory for
industrial development. Each one in its area of activity–-Sesi
in worker safety and health and basic education, Senai in
professional training and support for technology and innovation,
and IEL in executive education and intermediation
with academic entities–-these institutions must always look
at the needs and trends that directly affect the growth of
industry and act to strengthen it.
WHAT LEGACY DO YOU INTEND TO LEAVE FROM
YOUR MANDATE?
As already said, our main objective is to contribute to
constructing an effective and efficient industrial policy for
the State of Paraná. We want to show that industry is fundamental
to the development of any area because it provides
a significant return to society in terms of jobs, income, taxes,
and wealth. It is what is most able to turn the economy
of a region around. So, we want the Industrial Sector to demonstrate
its value and have adequate means to grow and
develop the State even more.
