Abstracts
All compounds produced have been tested as inhibitors of human leukaemia (HL-60) cells
growth. N-(2,4-dimethylphenyl)-2-(thiophene-3-ylmethylene) hydrazinecarbothioamide and
N-(2,4-dimethylphenyl)-2-(2-hydroxybenzylidene) hydrazinecarbothioamide have been found
to be the most antiproliferative active agents among those obtained in this study.
MODIFICATION OF FUNCTIONAL INTERRELATIONS BETWEEN OF
ZEA MAYS L. PLANT ORGANS IN DROUGHT CONDITIONS. Ştefîrţă Anastasia,
Melenciuc M., Buceaceaia Svetlana, Brânză Lilia, Aluchi N. // Buletinul Academiei de Ştiinţe
a Moldovei. Ştiinţele vieţii.. 2012, No 3 (318), p. 66-77.
It was demonstrated that water and oxidative stress, conditioned by drought, causing
disruptions in the functionally interrelations of the organs as consequence of differences in the
degree of water’s status change, oxidative distructions and change in the activity of antioxidative
enzymes in plant organs. Roots are particularly affected by the impact of the drought, while
stems represent an area with relatively stable water status and have, probably, a protective
function of generative organs meristem. The assumption was confi rmed that water is a factor
involved in adjusting the plant functional activity, contributes to maintaining the coordinate’s
relations between organs and fulfi lls, along with other factors, the integration function both at
the cellular and organism level.
СONTROL OF SOIL HUMIDITY AND PRODUCTION PROCESS IN TOMATO
CULTIVATION. Botnari Vasile. // Buletinul Academiei de Ştiinţe a Moldovei. Ştiinţele vieţii..
2012, No 3 (318), p. 78-88.
A decisive role in plant humidity provision belongs to precipitation, the share of which in the
conditions without irrigation was 83%. The coeffi cient of water use varies widely and depends
on the biological characteristics of individual varieties and weather conditions, on the moisture
reserves in soil, the amount of irrigation water and the magnitude of infi ltration. The formation
of one ton of standard tomato fruits without irrigation required 86 m 3 . Increased availability of
water from 70 to 80% of fi eld capacity increased from the smallest water consumption by 30-40
m 3 /t of production, reducing the effi ciency of irrigation water use.
Modeling is the most economical way of research and promotes the synthesis of already
existing knowledge and their use for the development of agriculture technology solutions.
