TRANSPORTURI
Atingerea scopului strategic al Uniunii Europene
privind o economie dinamică şi creşterea
coeziunii sociale are ca element central
dezvoltarea unui transport durabil, rapid, eficient
şi sigur.
Statistica domeniului prezintă date referitoare la
transportul de pasageri şi mărfuri utilizând
mijloace specifice fiecărui mod de transport,
respectiv feroviar, rutier, aerian, maritim, pe căi
navigabile interioare şi prin conducte petroliere.
Colectarea datelor este efectuată prin cercetări
statistice selective (transportul rutier de mărfuri şi
de pasageri) sau exhaustive – în cazul
transportului feroviar, aerian, maritim, pe căi
navigabile interioare şi prin conducte petroliere.
Indicatorii prezintă numărul de pasageri şi
pasageri-kilometri (pkm) şi respectiv, volumul de
mărfuri în tone şi tone-kilometri (tkm)
transportaţi.
Conform legislaţiei şi metodologiei recomandate
de Eurostat, variabilele „parcursul pasagerilor” -
pkm şi „parcursul mărfurilor” - tkm se calculează
pentru modurile de transport feroviar, rutier, pe
căi navigabile interioare şi prin conducte.
Datele statistice privind transportul feroviar de
mărfuri şi pasageri sunt obţinute de la
operatorul naţional şi de la operatorii privaţi de
transport feroviar.
Pentru colectarea datelor privind transportul
rutier de pasageri este desfăşurată o cercetare
selectivă cu unitatea de observare autovehiculul
cu mai mult de nouă locuri (inclusiv conducătorul
auto), înmatriculat în România, autorizat să
desfăşoare transport judeţean, interjudeţean şi
internaţional de pasageri.
Datele privind transportul public local de
pasageri sunt colectate de la regiile autonome şi
societăţile comerciale de transport autorizate să
desfăşoară această activitate.
În ceea ce priveşte transportul rutier de
mărfuri, datele se colectează printr-o cercetare
selectivă, având ca unitate de observare
autovehiculul pentru transportul mărfurilor cu o
capacitate de încărcare de cel puţin 3,5 tone.
Transportul portuar de mărfuri şi pasageri
prezintă date statistice agregate privind
încărcările şi descărcările de mărfuri şi pasagerii
transportaţi pe navele maritime care amarează în
porturi şi, respectiv, date referitoare la transportul
de mărfuri pe căi navigabile interioare cu nave
de navigaţie interioară, indiferent de
naţionalitatea de înregistare a navei.

The strategic goal of the European Union of
achieving a dynamic economy and a cohesive
society has as central aim the development of a
sustainable, quick, efficient and safe transport.
Statistics of the field presents data on transport
of passengers and freight by specific to
transport modes, i.e. rail, road, air, maritime and
inland waterways transport, as well as transport
through oil pipelines.
Data collection is performed through statistical
surveys based on sample methodology
(transport of goods and transport of passengers
by road) or on censuses – case of rail, air, sea,
inland waterways and oil pipelines transport.
The indicators present the number of passengers
and passenger-kilometers (pkm), as well as
volume of goods in tonnes and tonnes-kilometers
(tkm) transported.
According to the legislation and Eurostat
recommended methodological approach, the
variables passenger-kilometers (pkm) and
tonnes-kilometers (tkm) transported are compiled
only for rail, road, inland waterways, and oil
pipelines transport modes.
Transport of freight and passengers by rail
statistical data are collected from the national
and from private railway transport operators.
In order to collect data on road transport of
passengers a statistical sample survey is
carried out with the observation unit the motor
vehicle designed with more than nine seats
(including the driver) registered in Romania
authorised to carry out intra- and inter-county as
well as international transport of passengers.
Data on urban public transport of passengers
are collected from national and commercial
companies authorised to carry out the mentioned
transport activities.
The transport of goods by road data are
collected through a selective survey whose
observation unit is the motor vehicle for freight
transport with load capacity exceeding 3.5
tonnes.
Transport of goods and passengers at ports
presents aggregated statistical data on loadings
and unloadings recorded for the seagoing
vessels carrying goods and passengers calling at
ports and respectively statistical data related to
goods transport by inland waterways with inland
waterways vessels, irrespective the nationality of
registration of the vessel.
