Asymmetry in the access to public funds as a strategic threat to the industry
(banking and insurance industry in the Czech Republic 1990-2006)
This article is devoted to the issue of asymmetry in the access to public funds and of possible implications.
Situation in the areas of banking and insurance industry has been analysed and comparison has been made.
The aim of the article is to lay down conclusion on justifi cation or unjustifi cation of differences in the two industries
as to the access to the public funds as well as to indicate possibilities to facilitating desired change of situation.
