28 12 th International Scientific Conference, April 20-22, 2009 Brno, Czech RepublicNa podoprenie nových stĺpov pozdĺž dlhších strán haly sa navrhli pilóty typu CFA. Modelovalisa prvky priemeru Ø 600 mm a Ø 900 mm, dlhé 7 a 8 m (pozri tab. 2). Aj v tomto prípade bolzáujem ukončiť pilóty ešte v kvartérnej štrkovej vrstve s dostatočnou priestorovou rezervou nadneogénnou polohou. K statickému návrhu boli použité štandardné výpočtové postupy, ktoré bolioverené výpočtovým programom GEO 5.Pod stĺpy K1, K2 a K3 boli navrhnuté po 4 pilóty CFA Ø 900 mm, dlhé 7 m. Podľa výpočtovrešpektujúcich vlastnosti podložia by predpokladané sadanie pilótovej skupiny nemalo prekročiťhodnotu 5,8 mm.Pod stĺpy K4 na čelnej strane haly, podopierajúce vysunutú rozptylovú plošinu pre divákovbolo potrebné navrhnúť 7 pilót CFA Ø 900 mm, dlhých 8 m, rozmiestnených symetrickyv trojuholníkovej sieti s osovou vzdialenosťou 1,6 m (medzi pilótami bude medzera 0,7 m a celýzáklad bude mať pôdorysné usporiadanie v tvare kruhu). Únosnosť pilótovej skupiny bolavýpočtom preukázaná min. 13,4 MN a jej sadanie menej ako 19,7 mm, čím boli splnené podmienkymedzných stavov.Tab. 3 Zhrnutie únosnosti jednej pilóty pod stĺpom K4priemer pilóty(mm)dĺžka pilóty(m)U fd(kN)600 7,0266,778,0352,71900 7,0356,538,0478,89U bd(kN)580,15639,121311,741444,43U vd(kN)847,92991,831668,271923,23Únosnosť skupiny pilót bude U vd = 7 . 1923,23 = 13462,61 kN > 11850 kNLamely podzemných stien boli posudzované ako alternatívna technológia, ktorá budepravdepodobne použitá v nadväzujúcej časti objektu (podzemné garáže a tréningové plochy).Vzhľadom na priestorové obmedzenia bolo nimi modelované iba podoprenie stĺpov K4, kde bybolo potrebné zhotoviť základ pozostávajúci zo 4 lamiel konštrukčných podzemných stien (2,0 x0,6 m) hlbokých 8,0 m. PoďakovaniePríspevok je jedným z výstupov grantovej úlohy VEGA č. 1/0619/09 „Zohľadnenie rizík prinavrhovaní geotechnických konštrukcií“.Literatúra[1] TURČEK, P., RAVINGER, R., SÚĽOVSKÁ, M.: Rekonštrukcia zimného štadióna O. 12 th International Scientific Conference, April 20-22, 2009 Brno, Czech Republic 29LOAD-SETTLEMENT CURVE OF BORED PILESJan MasopustThe paper deals with the design method of axially loaded bored piles based on statisticalanalysis of more than 350 field static load tests (MLT) of bored piles made in the CzechRepublic during the past 35 years. The limit state of serviceability is characterized by theconstruction of load-settlement curve that is necessary for the simulating of interactionbetween pile and structure. The first draft was based on the theory of elasticity (Poulos,1972) and on quasi-elastic relations between soil and pile (Desai, 1974, Ellison et. All.,1971). The method was modified by means of back analyses of MLT on piles and recordsof the behavior of structures (Bažant and Masopust, 1978, 1981). Recently, theconstruction of the load-settlement curve of bored piles has been based on a non-linearpile settlement theory (Masopust, 1990, 2003, 2004) with the help of pressiometricmodulus of soil E p and rheological parameter of soil structure according to Menard(1965). The presented non-linear design method was developed for the construction ofload-settlement curve of single bored pile depending on installation methods and types ofsecondary pile shaft insulation in soils with corrosive water condition.IntroductionFirst results of the statistical analysis of the set of 226 static load tests performed until then inCzech Republic were published 20 years ago. The method of construction of the limit loadsettlementcurve of a single bored pile was created /Masopust 1980, 1981, Bažant, Masopust 1981/with the help of so far published works /Poulos, Davis, Mattes, 1977 – 1980/. From this time on thismethod became the most widespread method for computation of bearing capacity of bored pilesbased on the limit state of serviceability. It was proved simultaneously, that the classicalcalculations of limit bearing capacity are not reliable, as they do not take into account the realmechanism of mobilisation of bearing capacity of bored piles. This mechanism was verified by theobservation at the sites especially during the performance of the static load test. The main principlesare following:a) In the case of bored piles in soils and weak rocks (classes R5, R4):- The pile deformation increases during the gradual loading and the skin friction is beingmobilised up to its limit settlement 10 – 30 mm.- The tip resistance is being activated slowly with linear progress, while the limit baseresistance corresponds with the settlement roughly equal to 10 % of tip diameter of thepile.b) The bearing capacity of piles in rocks (R3, R2, R1) is determined by the internal bearingcapacity of the pile (permissible resistance of pile concrete).c) The method of installation of bored piles (boring, cleaning up of borehole, concreting) is ofcrucial importance to the bearing capacity of pile. It is possible to qualify some factors thatinfluence the bearing capacity of pile (e.g. with the help of known technological rules – EN1536), but it is impossible to compute them, as they are of statistical origin and theircorrelation are not known. These facts caused the critical attitude of the author to the theoretical methods of calculation ofbearing capacity of piles that do not include technological effects of pile installation. The presentedstudy is of pragmatic nature and is based on the real monitoring of data from the set of the fieldstatic load tests especially the tests arranged with load cells. Original set of 226 load tests was laterextended by 90 tests performed in the last 20 years in the Czech Republic and by 40 tests performedDoc.Ing.Jan Masopust, CSc, FG Consult, s.r.o.
